How to Use This Site   CLIENT   |   GUEST

CLIENT — you are hosting the event

  1. Registration
    • Before you can add an event and set it up, you will need to create a profile to use for logging in and identifying yourself. With this profile, you will be recognized as a client. You will not be able to change your password once you have confirmed it, this for safety reasons.

    • There are two parts of registration: creating your profile, and the actual registration. If you are a new client, click on "Registration" to create a new profile. If you are a signed in user, click on "Registration" to edit your registration information. "Registration" information includes client name, contact information, and the basic event information, such as date and type.

    • After entering your registration information, you will be forwarded to a success page that will tell you your event phone extension number and a choice to set up your event. Please make a note of your extension number, for all of your guests will need it in order to RSVP. This number might change, but if it does we will attempt to let you know before you send out all of your invitations.

    • Please include your event extension number in your invitations to those who will want to RSVP online at Guest-List-Online.com.

  2. Setup
    • Each event type has different options, and this is where you may set up your event, with specific information for your detail page online. Things that might be included on an event page are times, dates, locations, guest information you are providing for the guest list, a photo, etc.

      1. You can change this information any time after you sign in by clicking on "Setup Account" in the Client menu.
      2. Click on "Setup Account" under the Client menu and sign in
      3. You will be brought to your setup page. Enter or change your information and submit.

  3. Guest List
    • Your guest list comprises of all of the guests you are inviting to the event that you set up. All of your guests are listed on one page, so it might take a while to load. If someone tries to RSVP for your event and is not on the guest list, their RSVP will not be accepted. As a client, you are able to add an address, or in other words "guest," to your guest list, and view the guest list itself with all of the names you have added.
    • Your guest list can be accessed in "View Updated List" under the Client menu.
    • On your setup you specified how many invitations you are going to be sending. If your guest list reaches that specified maximum, you will not be allowed to add any more addresses before upgrading.
    • Your event must be activated before your guests can RSVP. You will still be able to add addresses, edit your information, etc. but no one on your guest list will be able to RSVP. An event will not be activated until payment or other arrangements are made.
    • View a guest's detailed information page by clicking on their name.

  4. Updates
    • Once you enter your information, there are certain things you can update, such as your setup information and guest lists. However, once you have entered your registration information (Client name, contact information, event type, etc.) you will NOT be able to change them.

    • Change guest names, addresses, phone numbers, and whatever you specified to provide directly by clicking on the "Edit" box in the yellow management box. You can also delete them by clicking on the "Delete" box.

    • On editing, you can change any information that is on the guest list, such as number in party, RSVP, contact information, etc. in case the guest cannot RSVP online. However, as a client you will not be able to choose their choice of meals from the guest list page.

    • Upon deleting a guest, you will be asked to confirm your decision, this for safety precautions.
